Well it has been an awesome start to 2017 so far!
AKS and Golden Gate have been working hard at doing some upgrades all around the farm.
Earlier this month we did a massive upgrade to the indoor arena. Repairing the ceiling to stop all the leaks, replacing all the insulation and vapor barrier, and getting all new LED lighting put it. It was a lot of work, and we are so thankful for everyone that came out and helped.
We are looking into getting some new footing put down in the very near future too finish it!

We are looking forward to continue the upgrades and improvements throughout 2017!

AKS Equestrian would like to welcome Royal into our family!
Royal is a 5 year old, 18.2, pure clydesdale gelding.
bought from Carsons auction. He is broke to drive, and should be an easy one to break for riding!
looking forward to his future with AKS!

Post season update!
AKS has a fun show season this year competing in all levels of shows.
From schooling level to A’s there were tons of ribbons for all!

Riden by Avery Sharp
Champion in the 1.15 @ Angelstone Tournaments

J’adore Dior, Owned by Jackie Chong of Golden Gate Equestrian, ridden by Avery Sharp took multiple ribbons this year competing in the 1.0m.
Taking Reserve champion at the Fall Finale(held at Caledon equestrian center)
And First place in the $1000.00 1.0m mini prix in the Equicup series held at Horsemans Shop

Aquarius, owned and ridden by Avery Sharp also had a fun summer
Taking 3rd place in the 1.25 Grand Prix Held by The Horsemans shop

And of course, Avery couldn’t have enjoyed her time if the dogs weren’t around!
Ollie, Teddie, and Freddie enjoyed spending time at all the events this summer!
